How does precision work?
How does precision work.
Is 0 best and 100 worst, or is 100 best and 0 worst. A great of spells in game give very low precisions, so does that mean they are very accurate, or innaccurate? |
Re: How does precision work?

Re: How does precision work?
Low precision is bad, high good.
100 precision is special; a 100-precision spell or attack form will always hit so long as the target is in range (and can't fire outside that range), even if the user is blind. Furthermore, 100-prec spells that target a monster always hit the targeted monster, and not just the square it occupies. |
Re: How does precision work?
Incidentally, do you know how does < 100 precision work ?
Is this the range in squares where you have 50% to hit the target ? Is this the % to hit at some range ? From experience, I'd say that even a Longbow of Accuracy -base prec 30, range 45- often misses at 30-40 squares. Not to mention that even if the arrow does hit the square, it could still miss the target, especially if he has a shield. Cheers |
Re: How does precision work?
