Observation + Questions
 

1. The attacks of Machakan spiders inflict weaker poison when their rider has been killed than when they have a rider (or the other way around, can't remember which way exactly).

2. If I buy the full Version of Dominions II (as I have been planning to do), can I continue a previous game in which I've run out of demo time?

3. Would a Air 4/Fire 4 Phoenix pretender set to cast Sulphur Haze work well with undead fodder troops? The spell seems to be fairly effective, but I've been worried about hurting my own troops (playing Machaka). Undead, however, are immune to poison and I think it might be very effective.

3) I dunno about the Sulphur Fumes/Undead combo, but I've used a combo of Poison Slingers and the Undead with a good deal of success. Sulphur Fumes sounds like it should be a very similar deal.

Yes, it seems to be basically the magical equivalent of poison slingers, and with it's large area of effect in hands (or claws, or tentacles, or whatever) of a high-level caster it should be able to work for quite a number of those. I'll try it later, then... Thanks for the answers.
