Order Bug in 2.11
I started a new SP game and got the "order bug"... ie my home province went down from Order 3 to Order:0 on turn 2.
So I'm wondering whether it might not actually be considered a bug... my gut tells me it has something to do with dominion spread, so maybe it's an additional risk for taking a low dominion pretender? Or maybe it just hasn't be addressed yet? |
Re: Order Bug in 2.11
The reason for the bug hasn't been found yet. It doesn't affect dominion spread as far as I know.

But I'm not sure about that... I definately have seen it when dominion is still at 1 in my home province on turn 2, but I'm not sure whether it's the only time I've seen it. [ April 07, 2004, 16:59: Message edited by: AhhhFresh ] |
Re: Order Bug in 2.11
Think I have mentioned this before ... sometimes provinces link up with the nearest number, not the neighbouring provinces on the map.
I have savegames where my dominions pops up 4 hops away in a sea province, with strong enemy dominion between. There's no way I could have got any dominion there - besides having a province with "neighbouring" number. At the very start of the game this could mean the "undecided" dominion of unclaimed provinces "seeps" into your homeland, tilting the scales towards "0" before your pretender/temples/prophet effects kick in. (what was the order of events concerning dominion?) A. |
