Help Purchasing Dominions 2
 

Hello!

Dominions 2 is cool and great. I got the demo after lurking here for a bit, and now I want the whole thing.

However - I made the mistake of living in the UK. I've looked at the reccommended sites on this site. The only UK one is £35 + P&P. The US ones are MUCH cheaper, even with shipping. Except that they won't let me register to ship things to the UK.

My options are:

1) Kill everyone

2) Ask you guys for help.

I've tried option 1, didn't work. So - what is the best (cheapest) place to buy Dominions 2 from if you live in the UK?

It's especially important as I may have to buy several copies if I want to play my friends multiplayer, as many of them are...not rich :-)

Are you sure you can't order direct from Shrapnel ? I'd be surprised you can't, as they have no exclusive distributors anywhere AFAIK...
I'm sure you can order it in France, at www.store4war.com , and maybe elsewhere. Total cost+shipping must be a bit above US cost if you avoid VAT taxes at entry http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

I bought it direct from Sharpnel (Spain here), was not charged any VAT from customs.

The way Sharpnel bundles the product (the CD is inside the manual) allows for shipment through USPS as documents, which has some advantages.

Hmmm - Through Shrapnel games you get to GamersFront, where it is listed at $50. Through Zen's Dominions 2 links you can find it for $40 at GoGamer, but they won't ship outside US!

It's also at £35 at sps-systems.co.uk, which is almost $70.

Bleh! I'll try Emailing Shrapnel support and asking if they know of any other suppliers.
