Modding questions

I have a graphics problem. When I draw a new unit, the shadows don't show. I use magenta (RGB 255 0 255) but they don't show. I checked the hoburg mod, saw the magenta used 248 instead of 255, tried it and still got no shadow... Any idea what I'm soing wrong? I think I mustn't put an alpha channel.

Yes, you can use magenta OR an alpha channel, but not both.
