Help me refine my "Man:Last of the Tuathas" Strategy
Ok I think I have my early game down with this empire, but I need some help with my middle and end game I think.
What do you think I should center my research on? How would you make best use of your casters (other than cloud trapese/Storm/Wrathful Skies). What kind of summons are good given the casters I have (sigh no astral and no blood ... tsk, tsk, tsk)? What kind of Rituals do you think are good? Assume that my pretender has no magic (not really how I play it but just want to play to the strengths of my empire). |

Call of the Winds makes good patrollers in high pop areas. (flyers get extra for patrolling)
A tactic for nations with sneaking army ability is to sneak an army THROUGH a province that is strong (knights and longbows, knights and hvy infantry) then attack a weak province on the other side. Maybe using softening spells such as Call of Wind and Call of Wild. Since you can move priest and mages in sneak mode you can easily build up on the far side. Such buffers can be quite handy if you are forced to pull back from an enemy. You can mantain a strong force ready to hit them after they have fought the strong independents to reach you. |
