I love enslave mind
I guess that this post is a testament to the quality and diversity of the available spells.
It's nice to attack a heavily defended indy province, paralyse all the attacking knights (mind bLast), and then enslave them all, ending up with a load of negative casualties and free knights at the end http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif Best of all, it doesn't require any gems, though I suppose mass enslave would be pretty effective too, if I could be bothered researching it and carrying gems about the place. A quick question though, I was attacked by some (magic) things of the void, my stargazer enslaved them (of course), but he didn't get to keep them at the end... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif Are magic beings normally not enslavable (to keep), or is it just the nature of the void gate, that you can't keep creatures that attack you? |
Re: I love enslave mind
I wonder if it doesnt stems from the fact that monster generated only for a combat cant be controlled... has anyone been succesful in keeping a lammashta (or a air elemental) for example?

Re: I love enslave mind
Pocus has got it right. You cannot permanently control creatures that are destined to be gone after the battle.
