Joining Multiplayer games
 

Seven friends and myself tried to launch a multiplayer game. We had some issues because apparently in 2.02 with or without a password another player can select the race you have already selected leaving you with no one to play. Is this true? So the Last person who clicks on a particular race controls that race and someone else who joined the game earlier and previously clicked on that race will just get dropped? Has that been fixed yet?

Also, does the monthly ritual thing work yet. I can't get it to in 2.02 with M, or shift-M and it's not in the menu.

Monthly ritual works in 2.11, and it worked in completely unupgraded game when I played it the first time...

Thanks for the info!

Two of the players are running the demo so I believe the highest patch we can go to is 2.08.
