Malfador Machinations has crafted one of the best 4X- space strategy games of all-time with a game that has pleasing graphics, an expansive interface, a worthy AI and the ability to mod to one's content. Though the game itself is missing atmosphere, for those who want to get their hands on the best tech tree created for a 4X game, look no further. SEIV has everything a would-be space conqueror needs.

Well, the only competition listed was Call to Power 2 and Reach for the Stars. SE4 could beat out much better games than those! I wish something else had been released this year so Aaron could have shamed more people!
