Re: Can\'t turn off cheat prevention...
its in the next patch. But it might not do what you think. As far as I know it only applies to making gods in the maps file.

I think would be wonderful if one could set the "points to be spent" to other than 500 at game set up.
127 would be interesting as would 1000. You could even include a faction-pick auction system, so less favored nations got a de facto bonus. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif Would generally make pretender design less mechanical. You could start a game now and say 127 points for gods. Enforcing might be late in the game when you actually got to see them. Hmmmm actually I do have a bit of C code laying around that "read" god files. Maybe someone could modify it to kick out a "total points" of a .2h file. When the cheat-switch is fixed you can create a game with 1000 limit. It would be cool though if the devs could add a command-line switch to set the "has cheated" notice to different levels. |

That, or cute fuzzy carrion bunny slippers. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif I suppose it's because some boots benefit the horse? Earth boots benefit the rider, but boots of speed, flying shoes, etc, give their benefit to what is nominally the steed. Still.... |
