Domes stacking

Despite the manual's insistence that stacking more than one of the same type of dome in a province is not possible, it seems it is allowed so long as a different mages casts each of them. Is this a bug or a design decision?

Last time I checked, domes were fully stackable, even by the same mage (dom 1 at least).

Even if you can have many domes in the same province only one dome of each type tries to stop each hostile spell. So it is pointless to have multiple astral domes, but I guess it might have some use for air and nature domes if one should break.

Would be worthwhile to see if having 3 air or nature domes then testing what happens when the dome breaks.
Will all 3 air domes break or just one of 3.

And what would happen when the screen doesn't have the room to place the 12th air dome ?

Re: Domes stacking

A question occurs: If you place one dome of each type around a province, is there any particular order in which they react to incoming spells? That is, would a mage be scroched by a fire dome first, then have his spell dispelled by an astral dome? Or would the simple fact that the fire dome "worked", even though it didn't dispel the ritual, prevent other domes from affecting the spell? Or would each and every dome be affected, regardless of whether one dome would be sufficient to dispel the ritual?
Not that I care that much, I just like sticking my mages and capitol under blood magic domes, just to remind them who's in charge. Solidarity is fun.
