Trouble with CD-keys
My girlfriend finally got her own copy of
Dominions II, mostly so that she could play multiplayer. The problem is that the new key in her manual seems to get rejected by the old installation. She has a bunch of mods and maps, and she would rather avoid reinstalling. What could be causing the rejection? Does she have to stay out of games that I am also playing if she keeps the old key? (mine) Which files should be kept if she has to reinstall? |

You could also try to copy your 'maps' and 'mods' directories somewhere, delete the dominions2 folder, reinstall the game and then copy back your maps and mods folders again. [ May 19, 2004, 17:08: Message edited by: Johan K ] |
Re: Trouble with CD-keys
I'm sorry for wasting your time. I should have
looked at the manual earlier myself. We had mistaken one digit for another. Everything is fine now, and thanks the powers that be, she got the stale turn, not I :-) Petar |

I think we are all missing the real point here.
Your girlfriend actually plays dominions and likes it? Your a lucky fella. My girlfriends not much of a videogamer. [ May 19, 2004, 22:14: Message edited by: Cheezeninja ] |

Too bad to. She has a kindof spreadsheet thinking that would let her play Dom very differently (and probably better) than I. [ May 19, 2004, 23:24: Message edited by: Gandalf Parker ] |
