MP Game - PASCENTIFUL MOVED!
 

Due to technical difficulties, which could not be identified or resolved, Pascentiful could not continue its hosting on Mosehansen's server: it would immediately nagot on hosting and we could not find out why.

I got Mose to send me a copy of the game for troubleshooting, but I was not able to reproduce the error: Everything ran fine on all of the boxes I tested it on.

Since there is otherwise nothing wrong with the game, hosting has been moved to:
kludgemush.com 10345

The next turn will not be timed: We'll wait until everyone is aware of the change and has sent in their turns before resuming timer.

You know it is funny. Pascentia was the first
big game I joined. I made a half-assed, non-VQ
pretender, set my scales to 1 HEAT with Vanheim,
got three stale turns in the first five, and kept
playing only because I did not want to be known as
a quiter.

Since then, I have joined quite a few games, and
they mostly die or dissolve for one reason on
another. But Pascentia, with my poor Air two!
Odin will not let go.

If Norfleet's Ermor was not my neighboor, I would
wonder whether I am not destined to win it :-)

Heh. And I wasn't around at all, this game would have died or dissolved as well, because nobody would bother to troubleshoot it, it would have just been written off as a dead game.

All parties have now responded or demonstrated that they are aware of the change of status: The timer has been resumed, and djtool(Machaka) claims he will take his turn tonight when he returns.

There seems to have been an unannounced reboot of some kind on the server. All games are back up now.

Ugh, finally took my turn, I did not realize how many players had been set to AI since Last turn.

Did the outage over the weekend cause the loss of interest?
