traditional "taunt" or "aggro magnet" not wanted?
Just curious, since I guess I am surprised not to find this element:
Is the lack of an "aggro magnet", in RPGs traditionally a "taunt" -- an item, skill, or spell which tends to have a chance of drawing enemy fire to the target instead of other targets -- intentional in that nobody wants it to be in? |
Re: traditional "taunt" or "aggro magnet" not wanted?
Given that enemies tend to attack the first thing in sight, never disengaging from a fight in favor of their designated target, until they rout, this wouldn't really mean anything.
