MP Game - PBEM: Age of Heroes

Map: Cirlani
World: poor
Magic Sites: 0*
Idependant Strength: 6

The twist is that each nation can only have a single commander of each type at a time. This also includes independants and summons. Lastly, pretenders are restricted to thier starting paths, to prevent SCs from becoming too overwhelming. Anyone interested should post their nation choice here, and I will PM the E-mail address.

*This does not mean that there are no random magic sites.

Interesting house rule, but this will strongly handicap some nations, much more than others, as some have various types of semi-redundant commanders while others don't.

Ulm, for instance, has several Versions of the "commander of Ulm". Are they allowed one of each?

The number of different available mages will also be important (though doing any kind of research will be a major pain, plus you won't have too many battle mages).

I would like to have Vans. But you should do
something about Supercombatants. Or anyone
NOT playing one will be at a severe disadvantage.

And the trick rule needs clarification. How
similar can commanders be? I.e. can an
independant commander with Prot15 coexist with
an independant commander with Prot 11?

Sounds pretty bad actually - everyone would pile 90% of their points into the Pretender.

Maybe a mod game where national heros are buffed by 2-3x each.

Ah, I forgot to add, only starting paths of magic on pretenders. As far as similar commanders, as long as there is some difference, it should be fine.

I don't think you'd have enough commanders to lead the troops, with only one of each type, especially if your nation doesn't really have that much variety in commanders. I'm not even sure this is playable.

Blood owns. On maps like this. The world is poor making troops expesnive and no one else has gems.

They will be a little hard to lead, but blood just happens to have quite a few leaders!

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">I think Mictlan has the biggest advantage here since they have so many different varieties of blood priests, and thus have the most units capable of bloodhunting, if you can only have one of each of them.

I think this is still incredibly silly, though.
