The 1st Dominions 2 Tourney starts THIS SUNDAY, JUNE the 6th !!!

GAME DATES :
Round1: 2004-6-6 8 pm GMT 1 - 2004-6-13 8 pm GMT1
Round2: 2004-6-13 8 pm GMT 1 - 2004-7-4 8 pm GMT1


NOTE : ROUND 1 will be up on SUNDAY, 8pm GMT+1, than you can see who your opponent is !!!

Visit The-Battlefield.com there is a function called "Playersearch". Just enter the name of your Opponent and all Playerdetails including email adress or/and Instant Messenger is
displayed !

on which server the games should run?

There should be an independent server (mosehansen?) for the duels. The 'serverplayer' could do some cheat technics useing the ftherlnd-file (like reveal magic sites, try the independent forces, etc.).

I think most of us have enough honor not to do that but the tourney is official and there are some prizes...

How's the challenge format? Something like: [i]Battlefield says: "You are player 1 and have to pick Atlantis against player 2 who is (insert other random name here) and plays Arcoscephale."?

Or do we bid on nations? Do we know opponent's nations before creating the pretender? "as defined" means standard settings (indep 3, standard richness, standard research, common events, graphs on, renaming disallowed)?

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">I think the nations are chosen by the user's preference, and in the event of a collision, a randomly selected person gets his first choice, the other picks a second choice.

As for "standard" settings, I've found that the usual MP-accepted settings are Indy-6, sites-50, HOF 15, standard richness and research, no graphs, renaming enabled (does anyone actually have a real reason to disable it? Why is this not just default by now?)

Also, we can't really arrange our games until we know our opponent, which won't be till Sunday.
