Some more question about morale check ...

As far as I know about morale is:

Quote:

A unit is called to make a "morale check" when wounded, when a squad member dies, when hit by fear inducing weapons, spells and fear auras, when repelled (but this will not induce mrlloss IIRC). Perhaps when other squads rout. Not sure about that one.

When a units is called to make a "morale check" most often it means: 2d6 + mrl - mrlloss) vs (2d6 + 10) IIRC

A squad start to rout when the sum of the mrl loss is higher then the squad size (or something like that) and fails a squad mrl check (average mrl of squad members + some kind of bonus for squad size).

Standards reduces mrl losses in an area equal to the standard effect by one each turn. Leadership has no effect on morale.

Sermon of Courage and Fanaticism both reset the morale status to the default level of any unit that has suffered a failure on its morale check.

1) some one knows what is this "bonus for squad size" ? is something "linear" or step (it could be that a squad with 11 units get the bonus and one with 10 no ...)

2) What 'Frighten' does ? simply induce a morale check on the target/targets or there are some modifiers to the mrl check ?

3) What 'Panic' does ? simply induce a morale check on the target/targets or there are some modifiers to the mrl check ?

4) What 'Terror' does ? simply induce a morale check on the target/targets or there are some modifiers to the mrl check ?

5) Finally, the suqd check to see if the squad routes is only dome in a turn in which the squad has loose some morale or just every turn after the total morale loss is bigger than the number of units in the squad ?

thank you for nay help
good play to all

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Not sure about that one, but I think I've seen squads rout after having suffered casualties or wounds in earlier rounds but not in the current one. Although it might be due to other causes I didn't notice (like spells or auras, etc.).

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">I believe that the morale loss is the same between Panic and Terror, but that the morale check is harder for terror than panic. Panic is made at -3, while terror is made at -5 if I remember correctly.

I've got the morale loss and morale check mixed up a bit.

Seems like I have seen Groups rout when contemplating a superior melee force in front of them. But, I could have mis-interpreted some other cause.
