Lots of fair balance (either balance of water areas or balance of multiple land areas). Lots of good choke-point maps (water creating small bridges, large provinces able to block those paths)

Some of these would make good starting points if someone wanted to download one, pretty it up with some automatic routines like smooth or blur, add images like forest and mountains, a name, some story-line, a few special victory-point provinces. Maybe turn your favorite nation into a special opponent with pre-designed god and scales.

The maps are grouped by according to how many provinces each nation (17 nations) could conquer before forcing war.
