And thus it begins
Turn 52, i enter into war with Tien Chi in the south (they declare and make the first move)....Turn 54, R'Lyeh declares war on me in the north (they attack me the same turn, but i am able to kill their God....)
Now, I have noticed that this happens EVERY single game I play vs. the AI. One war starts out, and within 2 turns later, another (or more) AI nations also start attacking me. Does it seem that the AI actually all work together vs. the human player? Or is it just me. If it is just me, then every game I am doing something to set it up....EVERY game. Not sure, but it just seems like the AI actually uses diplomacy to team up on the human player....I know that i am not that good, and many of you are able to trounce the AI....but this happens every single game I play vs. the AI.... |
Re: And thus it begins
In my own personal experience I will have nations declare war on me from clear across the continent that I have no way of being even remotely close to even with scouts.
I have noticed if a war is going particularly good for one side or another with my neighbors (meaning they are fighting with some other AI) then before they can really mop up, they will declare war on me and start attacking me when they haven't finished up with the other AI totally. I think there is a point in the game that the AI says "I want to ascend" and attacks everyone around them including you. |
Re: And thus it begins
Also, moving troops away from your borders to defend against an enemy on another front is an invitation to pretty much anyone along said borders. Besides which, AI nations apparently forge alliances with one another
