Just playing a game agianst Ai, was attacked in turn 127 by a fleet of (HIve,xiatung??? sorry unsure of name, race with original game use organic weapons)48 ships ranging from DD to CL.

Was just wondering what the largest AI fleet you have ever seen.

296??? Is that a human fleet or was it a AI fleet? If AI, was it a hostile fleet? If hostile, how the hell did you survive(or did you?)?

largest AI fleet, 115 ships of all sizes.
game has not been changed from factory settings.

On the 296-Dreadnought fleet: Yes it was hostile. I couldn't really fight it, because I kept getting range check errors.
If that keeps happening after the patch, I'm going to have to toss this game off the hard drive.
Well, I'm off to Tokyo to two weeks, so I won't be playing again until after the patch (hopefully).

Imagine the maintenance on 296 dreadnoughts! Guess they could pretty much go where they pleased.
