cool national heros
 

in my current single player game one nation against which i fight is ulm . the ai chose surprisingly bf ulm .
now they got burkard nachtzehrer as hero . he is in the hof and got heroic strength as heroic ability .
now he has 40 strenght . that's awesome wish i had him as my hero http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

i think he is anyway one of the most useful national hero's only the ermorian wraith lord hero and some of tien chi's heros come close http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Last a question ? what's the best heroic skill ?
i guess for wraith lords and vampire lords it is heroic strength http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
if you give them an armor negating weapon + boots of quickness and let them cast soul vortex this could be really cool ihmo http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Well imho there is a "best" skill... it's immortality. Either that or healing. Since there's a Tien Chi heroine who has both, I think it would be safe to say she's the best national hero.

Now would be the time for all the people who hate absolutes to jump on this post. Go ahead, she's clearly the best.

As for the best ability... heroic quickness is pretty sweet regardless of if you are a mage or fighter. I'd give that one the edge, but there are many others with merit.

The most worthless heroic skill is undead general on an assasin. He still can't lead any units with the special ability.

Best is probably quikness.

My current favorite is a Sidhe Lord I built on the first turn, who now has Awe +10, leading the Hall of Fame.

quickness is easy accessable through boots of quickness for many nations .

i am quite convinced that quickness is really the nicest heroic ability .

how much different heroic abilities do exist ?
and can every type of hero get them or are there class-abilities like only mages or only fighters ?
