MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow game? *full and running**

I was thinking about something like 96h with quickhost, so that it *can* be fast while at the same time everyone gets the chance to take of a weekend.

However, such a game would take quite a while to complete, and I'd find it unfair to block a space on Mosehansen (not that there's a chance of one being free, anyway), and I for one do not have the resources leaving my computer run Online for the next year.

Nevertheless, if enough people are interested, we're certainly going to find a suitable server. Even if that means risking Norfleet giving the game a snarky name. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I have so little time for gaming, I'd be into this.

I'd be interested, depending on the size of the map and amount of house rules.

i too would be interested. I find myself staling at least one turn per 2 weeks in my 24h quickhost games because of the requirement for frequent binge drinking when your enlisted in the military.

On a completely unrelated topic, Im never drinking again! Or at least probably not for the rest of this week.

I'm interested! I really want to try a new race, but I'm in several games already, so this would be ideal in letting me do so without overloading.

I'm very interested in a slow paced game! Actually I had asked here for 99h-QH game before...and it turned into 24h-NQH http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

EDIT: Oh, and I would prefer a smaller map fitting the number of players, but I would also take part with a big map...

If you Promise to keep it slow!
I would like to play as any power.

Yes, definitely keeping it slow, and 96h quickhost from the beginning, with no alteration whatsoever.

I am personally offended by most houserules, but here's my suggestion for general guidelines:

Open diplomacy via email allowed, if a player is observed stalling two consecutive turns (that's at least 192 hours), he's turned AI via a masterpassword unless he notifies the rest.

Standard research, common events, indeps 6, no starting positions, victory by vp with a nice scattering of 1-3vp provinces.

These are my suggestions. However, short on time as I am, I'd loath to organize it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif And, as I said, I can't really provide a server. Anyone stepping forward voluntarily?

It could be PBEM, so the host just needs an email account.

I'd be interested as well.
