player\'s Dom II crashes
 

One of the players in a game I'm hosting got a virus from an email attachement, and though he's removed the virus, ever since, Dom II won't open. It jumps like it is switching to the 800 x 600 screen display settings then it jumps to black then back to his desktop.

He's tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and re-applying the latest patch, but it does not help.

Any suggestions?

Not that Im a tech-master or anything ilke that, but the first rule of game crashes is checking your DirectX is updated (and reinstall it in case of a virus) and checking (and in this case reinstalling) that all of his computer's drivers are up to date, particulary the graphic devices ones.

Damned double post, anyway, you got a better response in the other thread of the same name you opened, try checking there (just noticed >_<)
