Creating Wraparound Maps
I'm personally a big fan of the Inland map and so I decided to try my hand at creating a wrap-around map of my own.
Currently, I'm using Gimp as my image editor of choice, but I'm having a hard time getting things to line up well on opposite sides of the image. Does anyone have any tips for getting Wrap-around maps to look good? Is Gimp the wrong image editor to be using? Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, - Matt Lepinski :-> |
Re: Creating Wraparound Maps
You might try cloning the edge pixels to the opposite side; that could give you a reference.

Re: Creating Wraparound Maps
image -> transforms -> offset
Choose the x/2 y/2 button. Then remake the middle of the map and offset once again to check the edges. Offset by other values to make sure it looks nice. Good luck. |
