New Patch bug?

Has anyone else been having problems with the new patch were you get "invalid canvas" and "invalid parameter" errors? They seem to prevent the screens from being drawn, and I evetually wind up with a screen with the buttons on top but all the windows are empty...

does changing your screen size/resolution/color depth have any effect?
