Downloadable?
 

I was wondering if this product was a downloadable purchase?

I don't see any mention of it on the purchase page and to be honest, I'm one of those consumers that wants it now or not at all.

As a Canadian when I order products from the US, I get stuck paying hefty customs fee's at the border which usually adds a solid $10-$25 dollars, seemingly dependent on how the officer feels that day (heh). A download now feature is very enticing to me, as a customer.

Anyhow....If it's not available as a download, might I ask why?

I'm sorry for any inconvenience. I'm not totally sure about the reason for no downloading: it may have something to do with the cost of bandwidth, etc. I'll defer to Shrapnel as far as official reasons.

Anyhow, I certainly hope that you consider purchasing the game. It should arrive to you in just a few days after ordering, you'll get a very cool custom designed DVD case and printed manual with your purchase, and I would certainly like to have you as a customer. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I leave this message letting you know that I won't purchase this game or any other from Shrapnel without a downloadable option.

Nothing personal to you, rather actually, an attempt to help you convince your distributor that customers are indeed being lost because of this.

There could be reasons beyond their control - if not, hopefully this message might help to add the option.
