GAME OPTION: Players can only colonize home planet type
 

Beware,if you select this option,the AI's will still research all the other planet colonization tech's; wasting research points and time!

If you take a planet with a race with a different homeworld type, can you build a colony ship for that planet type, load it with people from that race and colonize that planet type?

Not that the AI will figure that out if you can do that, though...
