I'm playing Eve Online on a regular basis, have to confess that I left SE4 for it more than 6 months ago.
This stuff happens, but it happens to idiots most of the time.
It is not hard to find mature players who don't do that crap.
Oh, and mining can be boring or entertaining, depending on where you decide to do it.

I got bored with it. I could see it went on forever, and I found his language towards PK's offensive (appropriate or not).Hey, I played UO and quit when I got PK'd 3 times in one night, so I hate PK's as much as anyone. I gave up after he said he had to pay a pirate who shot him just as he was paying. Ok so PK's are nasty, I get the point. I gather his financier pulled a fast one on him later.

Wouldn't it be great if SE V or varient, played like this game?

You start an empire, and the game is always on. Your ships are always gathering resources and your always accumulating founds.

Oh wait, they do have this.... Planetarion.... eewww. Full of cheaters and SOB's IIRC.

Still if we had our own varient for SE V ... .The fun factor would be high.

I think we discussed this a while back.... I cannot remember the name of the thread though.

Realtime SE ? Fun? Never!
Nice thing now is I can choose a game with a pace I like, and can do my turn when I like. Skill - and luck of course - decide, but not sheer Online time. I do not want to compete with kiddies who have no family, no social life, and no other interests, and are playing Online simultaneously with 3 computers 24/7 except when having to attend school.
