point defense cannons

If I have 5 PD cannons on a ship, to I need multiplex tracking to fire at 5 seekers? I think MP tracking was needed in SEIII, but now I am not so sure it is needed in SEIV.

Nope, not needed.

The PD cannons fire independtly of anything else.
