What\'s going on?
 

Turn 18, random events RARE.

I've had six (count them) hurricanes strike my provinces. I only have four provinces for God's sake! My capital has been struck three times.

I've had no other random events.

Is there some spell another race can cast to send hurricanes at my provinces, or is this just the RNG having a laugh?

Ah, ok, fair enough. Wonder who that is.

Meanwhile, how come my SC pretender is at the top of the HoF and yet has no big red star and associated heroic ability? Is there another criterion I haven't met?

that is, pretenders don't get heroic abilities.

As to who's attacking you, suspect anyone who is capable of hiring air mages - vanheim, caelum, and Man most notably.

D'oh. Oh yeah. I knew that really.

I've not met Caelum of Vanheim yet, and Man aren't in the game. I've just twatted Arco and the hurricanes seem to have stopped. Maybe it was a coincidence and Caelum are concentrating on something else ... (they're miles ahead in Research ....)
