Extremely Basic MP Question
 

This is incredibly basic stuff. I'm sure it's on a FAQ somewhere, but I skimed the ones here and didn't see it.

I'm ready to join my first MP game on the Mosehansen server, nunezs2000's "Newbie-Intermediate Only." How? I've picked out my faction and pretender. The options I see are "submit" and "reset" which do nothing. How do I proceed?

Other questions --
Map karan -- is that like Aran?
Research 1 == ?? Fast, slow, regular?
Event rarity 1 == Normal, rare?
Richness 2 = Normal, rich?
Other important abbreviations.

Is province strength 9 typical? Why? To prevent blitz expansion?

research random and richness are all normal. indies 9 means the toughest, so be careful.

you'll need to download the karan map off of the illwinter site. its a nice map - try an SP game to check it out.

to join the game you need to upload your pretender. do this by starting dom II, then go to "network" then enter the IP ie. mosehansen.dk, then the port, then choose your nation and it will upload. then you should go to the appropriate mosehansen page for the game and claim your nation - click "that's me"
