OT: PS-plugins to create planets, explosions, beam
 

Hey everyone,

ive recently discovered Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and i decided to create some nice babylon 5 background images. Now im looking for plugins which let me easily create planets, suns, explosions and most important of all: Laserbeams, beams, fire-effects in generell. You know, beams with small corona and stuff like that. Lens Flare effects would be nice too.

hey,

yeah, i already have two plugins from flaming pear, one to create suns, one to create planets/lunars. Unfortunally i havent found a tool to create glowing "beams" yet... anyone else ?

PolyKarbon Beam Tutorial

This isn't a plug-in but I have found it very helpful. Making beams is actually pretty simple. Once you master the basics for this, a lot of other beam-like techniques become apparent.
