Shipset design request...
 

I've got an idea for a shipset I want to use but after some abortive attempts I've re-affirmed the notion that my CG skills are garbage.

What I'm looking for is a race where the ships and sucha are made from identical looking gold/yellow/orange Hexagonal sections that are pieced together for various shipsizes. I've got a rudimentry layout of shipshapes but There's no way I can do the portrait aspects.

If anyone is up to the challange, I can send you the layout's I've begun.

Have you seen the Tesselate set? It is in the latest TDM.
