Using Minelayers
 

Can you please tell me how to use Minelayers to Mine the Warp points ?

I`ve researched mines and minelayers, built the ships with the mine stoarage things in them, tried the "load cargo" command and then "drop cargo" at the Warp points and every other thing I can think of and I never see any minefields built.

If your ship is not at the place where you want the mines to be released, click the "launch units remotely" icon, then click the place where you want the mines to be released. Your minelayer will then go to that spot and release the mines.

If your ship is already at the place where you want the mines to be released, click the "launch/recover units" icon and follow the screen prompts.

Try the Launch/Recover Units command. (Below Cargo Transfer and to the right of The construction icon on the set of ship and planet commands)
