does it use the ports from irc... or did you assign new ones ?

It uses port 6667. Would it work if I assigned a different port? What port would be useful to assign, that is commonly not closed by network firewalls?

Just tried out the irc applet, and everything worked like a charm. So for me running Mozilla and XP Home it worked.

This is a nice addition for se.net Congratulations Fyron, keep up the great work on your site.
