Proxomitron and Gmail
 

I have the JD5000 filters installed in Proxomitron. I recently got a Google Gmail account. I can not access the site at all with the filters enabled. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif Are there updated filters that will still allow Gmail to function, or do I just have to have the site bypass Proxomitron?

No... Get a Yahoo email account in the mean time... 100 MB inbox with 10 MB max email size and better spam filtering than Hotmail has... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

There was some talk about problems with GMail and Proxomitron on the Prox-list at Yahoo Groups. Just like you described, they couldn't login at all with Prox filters enabled. I don't don't recall if they managed to fix it since I didn't pay much attention myself ... I have absolutely no plans to ever use GMail and let an advertising company scan my email so they can annoy me more effectively.
