No colonys
 

I am new to SEIV, I have installed the Star Trek Mod, and have started with Low tech, but I cant seem to colonize any other planet as the tech is not there and I dont know which I should research to get it.

Can anybody help please.

When designing your race you need to choose a certrain trait. There is one trait each for rock, gas and ice colony.

Also, be sure to load passengers onto your colony ships also, or the colony won't go grow and nothing will be built. I know, that happened to me the first couple of times I played the demo.

Then again if you use the "colonize" button once the ship is build and select a planet then the ship will load as much as pop as possible without you telling it to do. The problem gregebowman describes only occures if you move the ships by hand.
