Planet Attack
 

Hello guys. I have a question on planet attack. I'm playing a Star Trek mod as the Cardassians. Have a fleet attacking a planet with no defensive weapons left. I don't have troops near bye so I'm just pounding it to death. All my ships in the fleet have Cardassian Compressor Beam VI and fleet is on Point blank orders. My combat report next turn has the planet attacked twice doing damage the first combat but the second one my ships just move in and don't fire. Any ideas why they don't fire the second attack? Thanks.

Check your strategy settings. You may have damage-to-planet limited to a certain percentage.

Does the fleet strategy have the firing priorities for planets set to don't fire on?

Thanks for the reply guys. The damage percent per ship was set at 80. All others are at 100.

The don't fire on planets is not sellected.

Do you have supplies/movement left in that fleet? Have all their weapons been destroyed?

Hello Pooka. My fleet has been sitting on AIs planet several turns with a star in the system, so lots of suplies. The planet is without any weapons. I have wiped out planet with anti-planet drones so not a problem anymore. I still don't know why my fleet fired only once and second tim just move in and sat there. A friend who is playing the Star Trek mod via email with me is having same problem. Maybe the Version of mod is at fault. It is an older one. Thanks all for responding.
