Carrier landing platform graphic wanted for mod
 

I'm looking for a graphic I can use for a new component type for my (Proportions) mod. It's to represent an external landing bay for fighters.

There are some shipsets that show carriers this way, with fighter bays that aren't inside the ship, but are on the surface. If a shipset author of one of these sets would like to offer me either a blown up view, or the right to blow up an existing image, either would be good.

Did you have any desire to submit the custom graphics in the Proportions Mod to the Image Mod? Send them to Suicide Junkie if so... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Some of the Proportions graphics have been in the image mod since the beginning. I just haven't bothered to submit the rest, and I think by now there may be some overlaps. Didn't seem to gain much to use it, but did add to my busywork load. I like the idea, just not the process.

Oh, and if anyone has some spare other graphics around, or feels like providing some, or giving me permission to reuse existing ones in the image mod or elsewehere, there are a few more I could use.

What exactly is it your looking for? Just the landing deck, or the who ship? OR do you want just the landing deck with fighters taking off?

I'm looking for a component image for a generic external landing pad for fighters. It will be an alternative tot he existing "fighter bay" component, which appears to be something internal. Probably shouldn't have specific fighters on it, but something suggesting a landing strip would be good. Something suggesting service facilities on it would be a bonus. There are some shipsets where the carriers already have parts that resemble an aircraft carrier flight deck, and a zoom in on one of those would probably do nicely.

I don't like the idea of external landing pads.
This is supposed to be in space..........
How about a diferent internal bay, something like from Battlestar Galactica?
