Does Rain Count as a Storm?
Does Rain, as caused by the Rain spell count as a storm, as required by the Summon Storm Power spell? |
Re: Does Rain Count as a Storm?
No, but a Storm counts as Rain, as in a Rain spell for fatigue purposes.

Re: Does Rain Count as a Storm?
Cool - thanks for the quick reply, Zen! |
Re: Does Rain Count as a Storm?
Does the Staff of Storms ground flyers (such as Caelum national troops)?
|
Re: Does Rain Count as a Storm?
The description for rain says it makes flying harder, does this actually translate to anything in-game?
|
Re: Does Rain Count as a Storm?
i think it translates to increased fatigue costs for flying movement

Re: Does Rain Count as a Storm?
To Arryn: Yes, it grounds flyers and most (but not all) Caelum's flying troops. Some exceptions exist, such as AQs, Storm Elementals, Springhawks, etc.

Re: Does Rain Count as a Storm?
Thanks, Zen & Storm. Out of curiosity, does the SoS also ground underwater flyers? (Logically, it shouldn't, but ...)
