My New shipsets
 

I'm working on a few new shipsets (a new Terrenesi shipset)

And to any who have read my story "Empire of Man" I am making a shipset to represent both the Empire of Man and a Rebel Faction http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

I have most of these two shipsets done as all it took was a repaint but the Cruiser is one of my favorite designs and I was wondering what you all thought good or bad?

Oh and I don't have a texturing program so I had to settle for the In Modelling painter.

just as someone who doesnt make shipsets... (yet)

I like the design.. for one of the shipsets. My understanding is these are two different shipsets. If that is the case how will they be distinguished in the void of battle? Is a different paintscheme enough?

Just my thoughts.. cant say that they are worth much though as in making them you are more advanced then I am. I also realize you are keeping to a specific mythos but thought I would bring it up.

Too variegated for my taste. Especially green one. They look like toys, not _real_ warships. Try to reduce variety of colors and maybe use some textures.

And you could make their shapes more different from each other (although, they similarity can be a part of your story, then leave them as is).

Yeah I'm thinking about changing some of the colors around so don't worry about that those are just prototype schemes at the moment.

Okay yes they are supposed to look the same it's part of the mythos of the Empire and Rebel factions of man.

Of course they could be better but it's my second set only aside from the Terrenesi :p

Wings 3d is not a "texturing thing"; it is a 3d modeler.

This reminds me of another ship set but i cant remeber what it was called, anyways its a good begining to a set (I like the second ones color)
