Easier ways to move ships?

I'm sure there must be a way to do this but...

How do I basically tell all ships of a certain type built to automatically go to a specific planet??

Thanks,

Ken

You must go to the Empire Options and assign waypoints, then in the production menu you choose to send the produced ship to the desired waypoint (using the "set move to" option).

set way points, to set a way point go to empire options, select set way point, select the number and select set, then click on the space you want it

next on the production queues (bases and planets) there is a move to button select your way point there.

there also is a multiple arrow key up top to the left of the move button that lets you send ships to a way point

when i say multiple arrow, don't confuse the arrow with the explore arrow, i am talking about the arrow that points to a circle from which an other arrow points.
