Battlestar Galactica

This is just a general post, more like a wish list actually. I have seen most of the shipsets out there and they are mostly incredible to say the least. A few outshine the games defaults (esp the B5 ones, and the Borg, nothing like seeing the Borg taking a beating from an Imperial Star Destroyer http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif ). I have even found such rare ones like the Starblazers ones (God I loved those cartoons as a kid.) But is ANYONE working on a Battlestar Galactica shipset? or knows of where I could find them (or the Cylon Empire?) I am useless at shipmaking, and Moray makes my head hurt. (tonnes of ideas, but no practical skills http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon9.gif ). Any info would be nice.
thanks

I enjoyed watching Battlestar Galactica as well. But wouldn't it be hard to create a shipset for it? It seemed like the show just had one type of carrier (REALLY REALLY HUGE) and one type of fighter on both sides.

If someone is willing to work on the shipset, I would be willing to work on that as my next AI project.

Funny you asked,
I am actually working on ship sets for BSG in my spare time.

Hey, just make a nomadic race with only Super-huge Carrier hulls and large fighters.

Dracus - are you doing the colonials, Cylons or a hybrid of some sort?

Ray,

Those 2 classes of ship were all that was left when they left to find earth. I am sure during the war they had more than 1 class of warship.

Re: Battlestar Galactica

I am working on the most common ones of both first (would like to make it two sets. Love those cylons). I have the old movie and some of the old models from when I was a kid. (this was my fav show.) Hopely I can re-create them. there were some other types of attack/defense ships in the movie. As for the rest of the set. I have not decided if I will try to somewhat come up with an idea of what they would may have looked like or just limit the sets some.
