Silly shipset idea
 

Anybody have a few buckets of Legos, some black posterboard (background), and a digital camera? I can't be the only one here with a sufficiently weird sense of humor...

Just thinking that there's more than one way to do it, but folks seem to all be using 3D renderers. Hrm.

hehe, the LEGOS Empire, eh? ROFL, good idea...

or maybe some minatures and digitize them..

one guy has done a partial of Warhammer:chaosgate doing just that..

cool idea, wonder if it would work with real ships? I'd love to see a set based around real sailing vessels, triremes, biremes, frigates, corsairs, yachts, etc . . .

Hey, I've been pondering for a long while of constructing my shipset in clay modeling it out and painting it up. I can do so much better that way and photographing it.
