Ulm Black Forest Theme: Vampire Counts?
 

I don't see any vampire counts with the black forest theme of Ulm, which was listed on a chart that I downloaded. It was the reason I wanted to try the theme because I like vamps. Is the chart in error or how do I get them?

Cast 'Sanguine Heritage'.

If memory serves, it requires a D3/B3 caster and 45 blood slaves, but no research is required since it's a national (theme-specific) spell. A Vampire Queen would be a rather thematic pretender and easily gets you to D3/B3.

You have to summon them... Basically you just put 3 points each of death and blood magic on your pretender and then hunt some slaves (44, to be exact) and there you go.

The vampire queen is indeed a very thematic pretender for Black Forest Ulm, but it is no longer certain that she is the most effective one. After the nerf she is much too expensive, and a ghost king with water, air, earth and blood may be a better pick.
