Looking for a replacing player: NeGoC5
 

One of the Ancients in NeGoC5 has not played for the past month, and his Empire is therefore up for grabs (it is the Manticore Imperium). The Empire is in a very good shape, and probably the most powerful in the game (we are around turn 110).

There were four Ancient races at game start (with full tech and *very* nice starting systems, but no way to expand beyond our borders), and two of them have been destroyed. In a few turns, the Ancients will be able to go to war against the minors (the other regular Empires), which should result in various wars.

If you want a full tech talisman empire and feel like smashing other empires to bits with your 500 base-ships this empire is for you!

Where did you see that? The only thing I saw is Stellar (Huletian) posting in the forums; no word of Tanus has reached me.

The game is now looking for a replacing player for another Empire, the Huletians. I am not sure about their situation, but they should be one of the most powerful Empires in the galaxy (but there is a mighty alliance making a bid for supremacy).

Can anyone write a short summary of what's happening.
Who is fighting who and such? Are the battles big och small skirmishes?
Is any ancient homesystem conquered?
What has happened with the first ones?
Please?

The Dei/Manticore alliance is leading the way, and I guess most Empires are fighting them (they should do so at any rate). Many minors are gone, and two of the Ancients are out of the way as well (Yuletian and Sign of One).

The First Ones are still alive, but are only fourth, with 20 million points, so that tells something about the might of the powers in the galaxy. I don't know anything else at the moment though, as the First Ones were left alone since you left.
