Awesome Wolf Death Caster!
 

Just a little known aspect of the Last of the Tuatha theme that I just discovered in a recent game, and thought I would share. It seems that if you cast GoR on wolves occasionally (rarely?), your new wolf commanders show up with D4 casting ability!!!

Maybe this is true for Ulm BF as well with their wolfherds ? Would fit thematically very well too .

Hmmm, the immortality bug? Quite possibly.

Did the newly promoted wolf commander have a name normally associated with the previously deceased?

Yes, of course it is the immortality bug. But it sure freaked me out when I saw these 2 wolves w/ D4 showing up on my doorstep! I had heard about the TC immortal bug, but did not know it was generalized to immortality. My opponent (Boron) had something like 20+ demiliches, and on the turn I took his capital 2 of them became wolves. I didn't do the count, but I would bet that the werewolf summoning allies in that same province got only 1 normal wolf that turn.
