OT: Missing people

I just realised I havn't seen a couple of people for a while. While it's possible I knew, at the time, why I wouln't see them posting in the future, if I did in fact know, I don't remember now.

So...Where's General WoundWart and Taz?

GW has taken a break from SE and these Boards (as Rollo did, if you are wondering). I wouldn't know about Taz though.

People come and go. It is the nature of things. Not all people are die hard fan fanatics of this game as many of us have proven to be.

I think the political debates of Last year, coupled with a few attrition issues, took the major toll on this forums membership. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

New games, Real Life situation, deaths, and marrages also weakened the active posting numbers.

When SEV comes out, or at least once the beta starts, and the demo is ready, people will come back and post. Provided they can recall their passwords and such.

You know when I saw the title of this thread, my first thought was about the people still missing from that tsunamic catastrophe. It's only thing in the news right now in Asia and had a lot of people making telephone calls all over the place making sure friends and relatives were all right.

Nearly all questions for SEIV have been asked, most Mods have been done and I think just less and less people buy SEV these days since it is quite old for a computer game. I think things will change again with SEV.

We've also added a few members in the past year, and some could be called "regulars" now too. Gain some, lose some, it's natural....but still sad to see people go.

I thought the same thing Decan, one of my cousins friends is still missing, and things are not looking good.
