OT: Installed fonts
Quick question:
If I create a WordŽ document in a special font and email it to someone, he or she would be able to read it in that font? Or only if that font were installed on the computer opening it? Thx Turin |
Re: OT: Installed fonts
Only if they have the font installed.

Re: OT: Installed fonts
Or if you do the following sometimes it works.
Tools - Options - Save Tab Embed True Type Fonts = Tick. It should save the font in the document and allow people on other pc's to read it. It doesn't work always, I'm assuming fonts that don't work aren't True Type or something. The Other Downside is that it makes the file much bigger. |
Re: OT: Installed fonts
Easy solution if you find an unreadable font....open it in your program of choice (for example, Word). Highlight all the text that's unreadable, then select a font that you have. The unreadable font will be switched to the one you have. Always works for me.
