Organic Armor? How to?
 

How do I get to organic armor? I've gotten all the way up to Stealth Level III (armor level 6) but I can't go any futher.

I understand that this armor can defeat mines. True?

Sorry, you need organic technology to get that. Requires The organic racial trait, too.

At this point all you can do is capture an enemy ship with the armor on it.

(could be hard to disable a self destruct device without ruining the armor, though. Got null-space weapons?)

The organic armor has the neat property of regenerating during battle, and is quite tough, so it takes a big mine to destroy it. smaller mine warheads don't do enough damage to hurt it.

YEP YOU NEED THAT RACIAL TRAIT.

THOUGH GOOD ARMOUR- ENOUGH SMALL MINES AT HIGH LEVEL OF EXPLOSIVE HEADS WILL DESTROY ANY SHIP. THEY REGEN PER COMABT ROUND AND THE MINE ATTACK IS ONLY ONE ROUND OF COMBAT MOST LIKELY.

STEALTH OR CLOAKING ARMOUR OR DEVICES WILL NOT STOP A MINE FROM SEEING YOU. THYE WILL ATTCK YOU NO MATTER WHAT LEVEL YOU HAVE.
